Intended Use : End-of-line device installed at the last element of the monitored detector zone input; for monitoring detector zone inputs to which conventional fire detectors are connected and for detecting creeping line breaks and short circuits.

Function : Detects creeping line breaks and short circuits and reports them as faults

Power Supply : Provided by the monitored input line or by the transponder's external power supply

Standards : Line monitoring in accordance with EN 54-13

Termination Resistance : 10 kOhm ±40 %

Polarity : Attention must be paid to the polarity (+/-) of the end-of-line devices

Unused Inputs : Unused detector zone inputs can be terminated with a 10 kOhm termination resistor or with EOL-I

Maximum Line Length : max. 1,000 m (input connection line)

Maximum Number of Detectors : max. 30 standard detectors (without ESK) / max. 10 standard detectors (with ESK)

Mounting Type : Installed at the last element of the monitored detector zone input

Area of Use : Used for detector zone inputs (G1–G4); positioned in the connected periphery (special detector or acoustic/optical indicators)

Counterpart for Outputs : Relay outputs are terminated with the EOL-O (808624) end-of-line device
