The IQ8Quad O is an optical smoke detector designed to detect visible smoke particles, providing a very low standby current with an integrated loop isolator, automatic self-monitoring, and short-circuit and open-circuit tolerance.
Optical Smoke Detection
Detects visible smoke particles from smoldering fires, light smoke, burning plastics, and smoke-producing liquids.
Integrated Loop Isolator
The detector features an integrated loop isolator; other devices will not fail in case of a short circuit or line break.
False Alarm Reduction
False alarm rates are reduced by automatic adaptation to changing environmental conditions and pattern recognition of fire parameters.
Easy Installation and Maintenance
Installation with a standard IQ8Quad base; includes contamination indicator and quiescence value tracking. The loop is not interrupted when the detector is removed.
